What does a physiotherapist do?

Physiotherapists assess, diagnose, and treat pain, injuries, and movement problems. Our team uses hands‑on treatment, exercise therapy, and personalised rehabilitation plans to help you move better and recover faster.

Do I need a referral to see a physio?

No, you can book directly. A referral is only needed for Medicare GP CCMC plans, Workers’ Compensation, Motor Vehicle Claims, DVA, or other third‑party funding.

What conditions do you treat?

We commonly help with:

What happens in my first physio appointment?

Your physio will take a detailed history, assess your movement, identify the cause of your symptoms, and begin treatment. You’ll leave with a clear plan and practical steps to support your recovery.

How many physio sessions will I need?

This varies depending on your condition and goals. Many clients notice improvement within 2–4 sessions, with ongoing care tailored to your progress.

Is physiotherapy covered by private health insurance?

Yes. If you have Extras cover for physiotherapy, you can claim instantly through HICAPS in clinic on the day, you only pay the gap fee.

Remedial Massage FAQs

What is remedial massage?

Remedial massage is a therapeutic treatment that targets muscle tension, pain, and restricted movement. It’s ideal for tight muscles, postural issues, stress, and injury recovery.

What’s the difference between remedial and relaxation massage?

Remedial massage focuses on treating pain and dysfunction using clinical techniques. Relaxation massage is gentler and designed to reduce stress and promote calm.

What can remedial massage help with?

Will the massage be painful?

Some techniques may feel intense, especially on tight areas, but your therapist will always work within your comfort level and adjust pressure as needed.

Can I claim remedial massage on private health?

Yes, all our remedial massage therapists are fully qualified, and health‑fund registered.

Do you offer pregnancy massage?

Yes. We provide safe, supportive pregnancy massage with appropriate positioning and techniques.

Where are you located?

We are located at 22a Riva Entrance, Piara Waters, Perth WA, proudly supporting our local community with physiotherapy and remedial massage services.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy movement. For physio, activewear or shorts are ideal. For massage, you will be professionally draped at all times.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Same‑day cancellations incur the full fee, with the option to reschedule within 48 hours at no extra cost. Monday appointments must be cancelled by 1 PM Saturday. Exceptional circumstances are reviewed compassionately by our Practice Manager.

Do you treat children and teens?

Yes — our therapists are experienced in treating young people safely and appropriately.

Do you accept Medicare EPC plans?

Yes. With a valid GP referral, Medicare will contribute a rebate toward your physiotherapy session which is deposited back into your bank account after you pay the full fee on the day up front.
