Physiotherapist Alisha Bajerai

Alisha Bajerai

Hi I’m Alisha and I have been helping people get back to what love doing for the last 14 years. After completing my Bachelors Degree in Physiotherapy 2010 from Curtin University, I’ve worked with patients in Perth and Malaysia to help them move better and help them get back in control of any pain or weakness they may be experiencing.

Since having 3 sons, I’ve developed a passion for Pelvic health and have undergone specialised training under Women’s Health Training Associates.

I have been assisting women with pelvic floor and continence issues, as well as many other Women’s Health related issues.

Your pelvic floor is very important and having this screened for any potential problems can help problems now and later on down the road. Some of the common things I help with are:

  • Incontinence (Bladder)
  • Urinary urgency/ overactive bladder (OAB)
  • Prolapse (including pessary fitting)
  • Post partum check ups
  • Abdominal Seperation
  • Back and Pelvic pain

What can you expect when you come in?

No one person has the same body and pain experience, so your session is tailored to suit your unique requirements.

I take your detailed history and piece it together to make sense of your unique story.

I will look at how you move, how your pelvic floor functions and anything else you are struggling with.

I’ll create a treatment plan specifically for you.

I will teach you how to use your muscles, including breathe well – to ensure your rib cage and spine moves well – this is often overlooked as contributor to your pain.

I’ll then take you through a progression of exercises that specifically targets the true problem – not just where your pain is.

You will build up strength and resilience until you can handle the activity you’d love to do. This ensures you stay pain free and move well for the long run.
